Hello,
I have tried to work out some book problems to know if I am going correct. Attached with this post is a file. Its a validation of a simple seepage problem.
Could you please help me clear some of my doubts?
1) What is Leakage Coefficient and how is the value determined? I usually am taking default value as of tutorial problems for the same.
2) In the attached file, the actual problem is to find the rate of seepage through flow channel and the answer in the book is 2.45e-5 m3/sec/m. Answer I got is around 2e-5 but I do not know the units for the answer!
After getting these things cleared, I have to work on the contaminant flow and the containment of those with the introduction of slurry walls and geomembranes. Can the properties of Geomembranes be specified? I will attach those in next post after some time.
Regards.

Re: Validation of the result
Hello,
I am posting a couple of slides explaining the leakage coefficient. About the units, Code_Bright uses the International System of Units (SI): kg,m,s... with the only exception of pressure, which is expressed in MPa.
Regards,
Alfonso
