I have a user who has a Mac laptop, with VirtualBox, with a Mac host and Windows 7 guest. GiD is on Windows 7.
How can the user make Windows read the GiD USB flash drive/dongle/key (when the GiD flash drive is inserted into the Mac laptop)? Where can I find this driver?
Windows 7 has a missing driver in Device Manager:
USB Mass Storage Device
Hardware ID:
USB\VID_058F&PID_6387&REV_0100
USB\VID_058F&PID_6387
Thank you.

There are GiD 12.1.xd versions for several Mac OS X platforms.
Why is not using this user the Mac version instead of use a virtual machine to run a Windows version?
About enabling the Usb memory stick on the 'Virtual Box' machine, the virtual box windows has an upper menu for 'Devices', probably you must select the Devices->USB devices->your memory stick in order to be mounted
But I don't know all possible usb problems, it it doen't work you must find it in 'Oracle Virtual box' forums.
