Today, I met a problem that the memory of "dev/mapper/centos-root" in linux was full when I run my project of GID. Finially, I solved this problem that the size of calculation file ".post.res" was 11G. So, I realized the root directory of "Procserver" was located at "/usr/local/procserver" which is the default.
I have try to change the root directory of "Procserver" into "/home/GID/...", and reinstall the "Procserver" with sudo. However, I can not run project in GID, and the message "connection refused" was displayed.
I made sure the procserver was installed the same way both times, only the installation location is different.

I think that it doesn't matter where is procserver installed
and to connect must be allowed to open a socket in a port,
Probably your problem is more related with some firewall configuration issue that is preventing the connection.
or can be also problems with file permissions to read/write/exec in the location where you have installed.
