Could I find the data about Si, Sii, Siii in local file?

Could I find the data about Si, Sii, Siii in local file?

I have to use the max principle stress to do some analysis, But i could not find these data in ModelName.post.res, dose the data about Si, Sii, Siii saved in some files? or it just dispear when i exit the GID?

The main stresses are calculated and draw by GiD, from the stress tensor
(the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of this 3x3 tensor)
They are not calculated and written by the solver in the .post.res

You can list some nodes/elements to know the value of its results, GiD also show the calculated value of the main stresses
Utilities->List...
In the macros toolbar, there is a macro button (looks like some lines of text) and its contextual help explain that "List some filtered results"
This tool allow you to select the results you want and the selection on nodes/elements, and show the values in a way easy to use copy/paste
