Cuts and isosurfaces

Hi,

I am trying to show an isosurface only in part of a volume using cuts. I can cut the volume but when I generate the isosurface, it displays for the entire volume and not the cut. I am using gid 12.1.7. At one point after many attempts it somehow worked but now when I try to reproduce it, I can't. Can someone please explain how this can be done?

I think I have it figured out now. Turning off "Options -> Isosurfaces -> Draw always" is what I needed.
