Multi results

Post by ivan.mr4 »

Good morning,

I am trying to represent different bodies at the same time using 2 different meshes.

The problem is at the moment I want to show the results I have declared 1st result for first body on nodes of the first body and a second result in the nodes of the second body so when I want to see results I just can choose the results of one of the bodies but not both. The "several results" option only let me take different results of different type (Contour fill, Contour lines, contour ranges,...).

Is there some way to show several results of the same type?

Thank you!

Greetings.

You must write the result for the nodes of both bodies in the same result.
(because I think that if do you write two results with the same name, analysis and step the second definition will overwrite the first one, and maybe GiD will complain about repeated result)

If do you have the results in different files, maybe with Files->Merge... you could join them (both results with the same result name)

Good morning,

Yes, use two results with same properties gives an error in GiD about repeated results.

I rewrote it with all the results in the same pack an in this way it works.

Thank you very much.
