Display grid in 2D

Hello,

just a very stupid question:

I would like to display the grid of a 2d result (4 noded quadrilaterals) as shown in the first attachment. I was able to do this in older version of GiD, but with the latest ones I can only see the boundary.

I use view style: "Body Lines" and the option "interior of Set ... will be drawn".

Where is the option to turn on the grid??

Hi Malte,

With these configuration you should be able to see the inner lines. It looks like a bug.
Could you please paste the information that you get in Help->About->More ?
Are you able to see the lines if you rotate the model?

Hi,

you are right: I can see the grid after rotating and also when selecting isometric. Only for "Plane XY (Original)" the grid is missing.

Ok, it looks like a bug that we found in computers with an integrated Intel graphic card.
We will fix it for the next versions.
For the moment you can try to change the OpenGL configuration to "Safe visualization mode" in preferences window in Graphical->System branch.

Hi,
corrected the problem for the next Oficial and Developer versions.
This problem also arises in Linux with Ubuntu's native drivers for AMD Radeon cards ( Gallium+AMD Radeon driver).
