Hello!
I need some help. I want to join an arc and a line into a single entity so I can make a structured mesh by surfaces (I need to have 4 sides but having the arc and the line as separated entities makes me have 5 sides). The arc and the line share a common point.
Thanks!
Join arc and line into one entity

Re: Join arc and line into one entity
In last GiD developer version 13.1.10d there is a new option to do it:
Geometry->Edit->Join lines
and select connected 'tangent lines'
In previous GiD versions could use
Geometry->Edit->Collapse->Points
and select the point/s to be removed
The collapse is really doing more things that only join near points, is also doing this 'join of near tangent curves' and other features
Note: if there is applied some condition or group to the point it prevent this join of lines
