Linear Elasticity

Post by BPA »

Hi!

I am trying to impose a displacement in Y in a material for a final time and I don't get it.
They could tell me how to do it for an elastic material.

I try to put it in the condition/Boundary stress, but the displacement i want ocurre in t=o not in t=1.

Thanks.

Hi!

To learn how to use mechanical boundary conditions please check section II.2.3.1 in the User's Guide and also the tutorial manual. You can impose a displacement rate or impose a calculated stress that, in an elastic material, "instantaneously" gives you a determined displacement.

Best wishes,

Alfonso
