[GiDlist] Import->Insert GiD Geometry crashes on Windows 64b

Dear GiD team,

I have a problem of GiD crash.

When I try
Files--Import--Insert GiD model
and choose some model then crash.

I am using GiD 11.1.9d 64bit on Windows 8.1 pro 64bit.

If I want to calculate the integration of a scalar result for multiple
cuts, respectively, what should the code be for a macro? Thank you very
much.

You can do the integral of a scalar along a cut without programming any macro, with the current tools: View Results-Integrate



Do a macro to use this tools for multiple cuts could be difficult because selection cuts is cryptic (you cannot know a priori the name of the cut)

e.g.

GiD_Process Mescape Results Graphs Integrate 3D ThisStep ScalarResult my_name my_component -2147352474



In this case -2147352474 is the ‘cryptic name’ to select my cut!!

It seems that it crash only when inserting a model in an empty model.
For this case doesn't has sense to use insert, use the normal open. Insert
model is just interesting to add a model to an existing model.

We will fix it for next GiD 12.0.1 version
