Hello,
definition of gauss points:
http://gid.cimne.com/support/gid_16.subst#SEC241
example:
http://gid.cimne.com/support/gid_16.subst#SEC244

so, you have to write each result's value of each
gauss point in separate lines:

Result ...
Values
element_number value_1
value_2
value_3
other_element_number value_1
value_2
value_3
End Values

value_1 will be the result for gauss point with the firsts natural
coordinates, value_2 for the second ones, and value_3 for the third
ones.
for the in GiD used natural coordinates for the 3-gauss points over
triangles, look at
http://gid.cimne.com/support/gid_16.subst#GaussPoints.gif

Hope it helps

Hi GiD support,

I'm trying to display some values with "contour fill" on my gauss points in
the post-processor. I have all triangular elements and I have defined 3
gauss points per element, one on each side of the triangle. In the
*.flavia.res file I have listed the element_number, value_1, value_2 and
value_3 for each of my elements. But I have a question: How do you
arrange the order of the sides of an arbitrary triangular element? This is
important since my output values are distinct for each side (or edge) of
the an triangular element. My main goal is to display a value on each
edge, which is defined by two global nodes. Just for you info.

Thankyou for your help.
Tom
