How can I plot the specific length on the border plot

Post by KaniTo »

Hello
I am wondering How can I plot the specific length on the border plot.
I have tried to use many plot tools in GID, but I dont know how to plot the specific length.
I had tried using border plot, but the result was come up with all the border line.
I have just wanted to get the data on the parabolic line pointed by the red arrow (see the attached image)

You cannot select only a trimmed part of an 'automatic border' for the 'border graph' (the border will be the whole boundary of your triangles)

What you can do is to create a polygonal path (but it has straight segments)
Geometry->Cut 2D polygonal
and then select the newly created cut/set (depending in the preference to automatically convert cuts to sets)
as support of your 'border graph'
