Hello,
we recently acquired a couple of floating licenses for GiD. The problem is that when GiD closes by mistake (Windows crashes, for example), then the server still retains the license and doesn't release it. Is there any way to force the server to release the floating licenses?

In theory the server must release by themselve the licence of a GiD also if it crash.
Which is the operating system of the GiD client? And the server?
The only way that you have to force the server to update the count of users is to stop the passerver service and start it again.
GiD clients already running will automatically try to reconnect to the server after a while.

I think the server is windows, but not 100% sure.
Stopping the passerver service is what we've been doing.
