Hi Guided,
as escolano mentioned, we don't have a macOS machine with the new processor. And it seems that it will take long for these machines to arrive to the widespread market.
From what i have read, the new Apple Silicon M1 macbooks are delivered with macOS Big Sur ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacOS_Big_Sur ) and with this operating system, comes Rossetta ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosetta_( ... #Rosetta_2 ) which will emulate x86 on these new processor.
This allows, in theory, macOS apps compiled for Intel processors to run on the new processor.

As mentioned we don't have any machine to test it. In theory GiD should run on the new processor with macOS Big Sur and Rosetta 2.

Please tell us if you are able to run GiD on the new processor.
best regards,

Did you get any response regarding it? I am getting a laptop with a new processor and I would like to know the answer.
