Hi GiD team
I have a surface model which when I do a collapse model completely
disappears, this occurs irrespective of the import tolerance setting I
define in preferences? What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance
mark

hello,

i import an .stl file and used the function

geometry - create - surface mesh

and than this error message came

Error: element 1 has two or more adyacent elements at the same edge - elem
10933 and elem 10538. Cannot continue.

this is the first time by using this function that this error message came!
i send you the stl file that you can check what the problem is.
maybe it is a bug again?

Hope you can help me again

Hi Mark,

Maybe this problem is solved in more recent 8.0.2 version,
Can you send us this model to test it?
(you can send it directly to escolano at cimne.upc.es to avoid to send to all GiDlist users)

Enrique
