Hi, lately i w was modelling a n highrise building in GiD, and i'm facing an issue here. show the image. I modelled the facade as a shell elements. in the post process model it doesn't connect with other nodes as seen. Please help!

attach a zip of the GiD model with results, to check how are defined the mesh and its results

By your image I guess that you are visualizing a "View Result-">"Result surface"
of the X-component of the displacement result.

It is ok to see discontinuous surfaces!!

The '"Result surface" visualization do representation of the scalar result value in the direction of the normal of the surface
R(x'y') in local coordinates. (a kind of 'offset surface' with offset value the result)

and the same for lines
e.g. to draw of bending moment or shear effort in local coordinates along a beam represented by a line-element

Thank you. How can i apply live and dead loads, combinations for the model?

And can anyone help me with a highrise building sample model or a tutorial to how to model it?
thank you

The question about combination of loads is not related to GiD, must be asked in other forum.

In particular your case is calculated with Kratos, must ask it to Kratos problemtype developers
