Hi

My question is related about the modelation of slabs in the SEM, because I search lot of tutorials online of Codebrigh-Software (and including other software) but there isn't information about how can I model slabs in superficial excavation, (its propierties and border condition), if Someone can help me with a tutorial about that or an example I'd be grateful

Thank for your attention!!

Your question probably must be asked in the code_bright sub-forum.
In any case, from the point of view of GiD you can split your geometry / mesh in different parts, and separate with some property (e.g groups, , layers, materials, some condition, etc.) and consider on each stage of the sequential simulation the parts you want.

It seems that Code_brigth is codifying the construction sequence in the material+interval data,
The material is associated to a geometry/mesh part (in GiD an entity is only of one material and only one)
its material has a table of data and each row is for a step of construction (associated with the same step or interval data),
The column P1 of the material seems that declares if the material is activated or not (I' ve seen this information in its contextual help).
