Re: "TemporalVariables" file cannot be found.
Dear Mr. Kanazawa, it seems that you tried to use GiD directly from the installation disk, which is read-only. Have you "drag and drop de GiD.app (icon) into the Applications folder alias" to install it in your /Applications folder? if so, can you check if GiD is present in the Application...

Re: Gauss point result assignation
Hi again, after reviewing the bug, the problem lies in mixing 'standard' GP definition and 'user' defined GP. In your case GP_TETRAHEDRA_4 and GaussPoints "H" If you define, for instance GaussPoints "H4" ElemType Tetrahedra Number Of Gauss Points: 4 Natural Coordinates: Internal ...

Re: Gauss point result assignation
Hi, yes this is a bug when reading asscii files with results on gauss points for some elements. Although they are drawn incorrectly, you can export them in binary format (Files-->Export-->Post information -->binary (whole model)), and then read them again in GiD. Then they will be correctly drawn. S...

Re: Reading File Problems
Hi, you can create it by hand .... or you can record the batch of your working session on the preferences window: preferences_batch.png Once enabled all command-line commands that you do in GiD are recorded in the selected batch file. Re: Open binary postprocess information automatically
Hi, we've found the problem and corrected it for the next version, to be released very soon! The problem was that the mesh in the binary file was defined inside a group and gid mistook this as an error when changing from preprocess to postprocess, but not when opening the file from the file menu. No...

Re: deformations shown in GiD
Hello, when you select a deformation, GiD selects a factor that allows you to see the deformation. the factor can be seen at the command line, just below the graphical window: f1.png When you select the deformation, you can enter any factor you want at the command line. Also if you use the deformati...

Re: Printing fails on OS X with 12.1.2d
Hi, the help does not use the standard printing tools, but a more complex system. This system uses the X11 fonts, located at /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TTF/... But the X11 system is not present by default since Max OS X 10.8. The next version will use Mac OS X own fonts. You can use them now by just u...
