Dear Ayman,
There is an oedometer test example in the Code_Bright website:

Re: Dirichlet boundary conditions
Dear Antoni,
Then you just use a high value for "gamma for heat" and then your boundary conditions will be Dirichlet-like.
Regards,
Alfonso

Re: Dirichlet boundary conditions
Only Cauchy conditions, as far as I know. You have further information about this in page 18 of the manual.
Which kind of boundary conditions are you looking for?

Alfonso

Yes, it is possible in the last version. You can find information about that both in the manual and the tutorials.

Dear Nuno,
There is a presentation about that matter in the following link in case it is helpful for you:

Re: Undrained Triaxial Tests - BBM
That's probably because you are using a single element, and you cannot simulate a single element in Code_Bright; you need al least more than one due to the algorithm used by Code_Bright to reduce the matrix bandwidth.

Re: Undrained Triaxial Tests - BBM
Dear Boris, There might be more problems, but the main problem of your simulation is that the whole model is free to move in the x direction, so even if there is a slight difference in the stresses applied to the right or left, the model will move to the infinite (or -infinite). One possible solutio...
