Re: Negative Jacobian in some nodes issue

Hello, It seems there are some tetrahedra with jacobian negative (or almost zero). You can detect them using the Mesh-Mesh Quality tool. They are in volume 2, and it seems that is due to streched elements in the contour surfaces. Checking it, if you assign a finner mesh to the surfaces (the long one...

Re: 2D boundary layer crashes GID

Hello, thanks to your message, we have detected a bug in the code. We are working on solving it, and next version of the program to be released in the following weeks will have it fixed. In the meantime, you can skip this if you delete the groups and assign them to the elements, once the mesh is don...

Re: licence number (11 characters)

You should get the licence from our online shop, for a permanent licence:
https://www.gidhome.com/gidshop/shop

If you need a free month password you won't need the licence number to get it.

Re: Breaklines

The way to force a surface mesh to be 'constrained' by a line mesh is to include that line into the geometrical definition of the surface. The line should be part of the contour of the surface. In case the line is not, you should divide the surface usinga path of lines containing the required line, ...

Re: To do structured mesh with Hexanedra

Hello LongZhu, We have been checking your model and we have detected some problem in GiD at the time to compatibilize the numbers of divisions in lines of structured and semi-structured volumes. We are working to solve it, and we will come back to you when it will be ready. Thanks so much for report...
