TEKLA-to-GiD (ATENA problem)
Hello! I intend to create a macro or program to export model from Tekla Structures to GiD with all available properties to be defined to GiD macroelements. I see the following ways to solve this problem now: OPTION A (mid difficulty) 1. To export geometry from Tekla to 3D DXF file with all concrete ...

Re: GiD 14.0.2 crush while meshing
I have checked some more times: it doesn't depend on saving probably, just saving helps to get on the same page after crush. However, I have this problem in about 50% while meshing. The model is attached:

GiD 14.0.2 crush while meshing
Hello!
I found a bug in GiD 14.0.2 x64 in Wondows 10 (tested on 2 different PC's).
It crushes while meshing if model was not saved just prior to meshing. For details see the video.

Force point to be meshed inside volume
I want to make a point to be meshed on the side of a volume.I need to assign some boundary conditions to this point and not to lose this input while regenerating the mesh (now I solve it with assigning boundary conditions to FE node directly). I tried Mesh - Mesh Criteria - No skip - Points, but it ...

Re: Move point
Thanks, escolano! This is exactly what I was looking for! After Rebuild all boundary conditions and mesh settings applied to the surfaces were not corrupted.

Move point
I have a problem while using "Move point" in GiD 12. I expect that moving point will change adjacent geometry properly (lines, surfaces and volumes containig this point to be extruded). However, surfaces and volumes behaves really strange. The video with the bug is here: https://drive.goog...
