Re: Having list with more elements
I did the trick but it does not work. The default has not changed. Any thought?
Thanks.

Hexagonal meshing of a non-box volume?
I am trying to mesh a non-cubic volume using hexa elements. GiD says it can only be meshed by thetra elements. I am wondering if any way to solve this issue?
I also attached my gid file.

Yeah, I was surprised to see it working but it's working fine right now.

Re: Gid calculation error in Linux
Thank you.
I managed to solve the problem by changing .bat file content to something simple. As you said it does not run any other program and it does not need to contain important stuff.

Re: Gid calculation error in Linux
I am not one of the developers and I am just using the problemtype. I believe they have not released any Unix version of the problem type. To be honest, I am not sure if I understand your point correctly. I have compiled and run gid on Linux platform but I am not sure what the *.bat file does here b...

Gid calculation error in Linux
I am using GiD in linux. I have used it in windows and there was no problem, but, right now, I am getting an error (please loot at the attached file).
Do you have any idea what might cause the error?
Thanks

Re: Vectors density
Thank you. I think it would be a nice option to add. It's sometimes useful.

Re: Vectors density
Thank you. What if someone wants to change "Filter factor" for a specific region?
If the model has two separate surfaces and the "Filter factor" needs to be applied to surface one. Is it possible to do that?

Vectors density
Hi, Is there any way to change vectors density for a specific region? Imagine the model has two different materials, one has a higher number of nodes (denser mesh). During the postprocessing using "display vectors", GiD assigns one vector to each node/element which builds highly concentrat...
