The objective of this sixth edition of the GiD Convention is to bring together users and developers of the GiD pre/post processing system in order to exchange ideas and experience on the generation of data for computer simulation and the graphic visualization of numerical results. Furthermore, the 11th version GiD will be released in the frame of the GiD Convention, and the new features of the new version will be presented.
The meeting is organized in two parts: the first day dedicated to courses on GiD v11 and some simulation codes linked with GiD, and the second day where a workshop will be held.

The convention will take place at the intallations of CIMNE Barcelona, Spain, located on North Campus of the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC). The presentations will be held on the O. C. Zienkiewicz auditorium (map). |

The assistance to the workshop is free.
The courses fee is 120 euros, including:
- All the courses (morning and afternoon)
- One year licence of professional version of GiD v11.
The participants must register in the website congress.cimne.upc.es/gid12. |
