Convention fees

The assistance to the workshop is free, but registration before June 15th its needed at: congress.cimne.upc.es/gid14

The courses fee is 120 euros, including:

  • All the courses (morning and afternoon)
  • One year licence of professional version of GiD v12.
  • Coffee breaks and lunch

Location

The convention will take place at the intallations of CIMNE Barcelona, Spain, located on North Campus of the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC). (map).

Objectives

The objective of this seventh edition of the GiD Convention is to bring together users and developers of the GiD pre/post processing system in order to exchange ideas and experience on the generation of data for computer simulation and the graphic visualization of numerical results. Furthermore, the 12th version GiD will be released in the frame of the GiD Convention, and the new features of the new version will be presented.

The meeting is organized in two parts: the first day dedicated to workshop, and the second day courses on GiD v12 and some simulation codes linked with GiD will be held.
