Local axis
How I can assign an automatic local axis to node. And if it is not possible to node, then to element
Re: Local axis
An 'automatic local axes' is a local axes system x',y,'z' that could be automatically defined based on geometry properties:
e.g. for a curve the x' axis local tangent to the curve,
or for a surface the z' local axis normal to the surface
(and the other two local axis arbitrary following some rule)
For a point or node there is not any 'special' direction to be used as 'automatic', this is the cause that you cannot assign it to these entities.
For mesh elements it is the same: can be applied to line elements or surface elements, but not to volume or 'only-point' 0D elements
