Hello,
How to create zero length elements (which is an element between two points having the same geometrical location) in GiD?
kindly advise

Re: Zero Length element
you can create two different points in exactly the same x,y,z location, and create a line between them (a zero length line)
and you can generate a mesh.
GiD will generate a zero length element that in general is wrong, but could be appropriated in some cases
e.g. for contact elements.
Be careful to not invoke a collapse of the geometry, then the points will be joined and the line deleted.
