Combined results

An interesting postprocess options is to combine several result visualizations, like this one:

To get this view follow these steps:

  • . Clear all results visualizations with View Results->No results or the icon
  • . Select Window->Several results. Then following window appears:

  • . In this window select one over another. With this option GiD is told to visualize one result over another
  • . Select View Results->Default Analysis/Step->Ransol->103
  • . Select View Results->Iso surfaces->Exact->Pressure through the menu bar or clicking on the
  • . In the following questions: How many isosurfaces? Enter 1
  • . Enter the 1 value ...? Enter 0
  • . Select View Results->Contour Fill->Pressure
  • . Set the minimum value to 0
  • . Select Options->Contour->Min options->Out min color->Transparent
  • . Select Options->Contour->Color scale->Terrain Map
    • Combined results
